It is the responsibility of parents to pick their students up at the designated time. Calendar Clubs Mission, Philosophy, Goals Other After-School Activities Registration Form Sports General Information
Dear Parents, I am pleased to share with you the exciting clubs and activities we have put together for our Stella Niagara students this year. The teachers have really outdone themselves! Every student can find something to do, and most grade levels have an option available each day Monday through Thursday. There are also daily supervised study halls. So if you have a child that needs some extra help with their school work or has a very busy home schedule, it may be a good idea to enroll your child in these sessions. Please keep in mind those teachers who act as instructors in the after-school program are very aware of the various sports’ teams that practice throughout the school year. If your child is a member of a sport’s team but still has an interest in joining an after-school club, please enroll your child with a notation to the teacher explaining when the child will begin attending sessions. Since instructors in the after-school program are responsible for the children in their club, it is necessary for them to know who will be attending their sessions. Read the description of each activity carefully. Some activities do not run the entire fall session, others are offered every other week rather than every week. Grade levels are listed for each activity and while we try to accommodate all children, class sizes are limited. Prompt registration will give your child the best opportunity to participate in the sessions he/she is interested in joining. Teachers will escort their students outdoors, weather permitting, at the end of each session. If for some reason, someone other than the usual care giver is picking up your child, please inform the instructor in writing of that fact. Be sure to include the name of the person who will be picking up your child. If you will be late arriving at the school to pick up your child, call Mrs Hyde in the school office to inform her, she will give the appropriate teacher the message. Any child not picked up promptly (10 – 15 minutes after the club has ended); will be sent to extended care. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE. I hope that you will enjoy looking through the after-school brochure and that your child will find many interesting activities to join. Thank you for your support of this program; it is one of the many things that makes Stella Niagara Education Park a special place to attend school. Sincerely, Susan Sinski After-school program coordinator
